How confidential is your Service?

Confidentiality is the cornerstone of our business. We are extremely discreet and will discuss the specifics of the position only with qualified candidates. The confidentiality of our candidates is equally important. We will not divulge the identity of ANY candidate without first discussing the specifics of the opportunity with them and obtaining their permission before presenting them.

McKinnon Targeted Recruiters is very careful to maintain the confidentiality of your information in a secure AWS system. We treat all details about you as strictly confidential and these will only be used in order to evaluate your information for potential career opportunities and in order to send your profile to companies that have asked us conduct candidate searches on their behalf.

Why should I use McKinnon Targeted Recruiters?

The retention rate of the candidates that we place is exceptionally high. The main reason for this appears to be:

The thoroughness of our candidate search process and our promise to help candidates find the right opportunity based on their Goals, Objectives. Experience and Skills. (GOES). 

We don’t just look for someone that can fill the position. Our on going objective is to help our clients secure the optimum candidate available to the market. To achieve this we access all active candidate sources; our candidate database (35,000), online sourcing (industry specific job boards, etc.), all passive candidate sources (headhunting) and posting. Often the right candidate is not actively looking for a new position but sometimes may just be starting to think about a move when we contact them. We call this the passive candidate. Most recruiting firms only access active candidates and lack the specialized skills and training needed to identify and attract passive candidates. This is where we excel. We give you access to a much wider talent pool. A greater selection of candidates often results in a superior hire. Our search process is very refined. It’s called Targeted Recruiting.

Is there a cost for using McKinnon Targeted Recruiters?

There is no cost to candidates. The Employer pays our fee from a budget that is separate from the compensation budget and our fee does not impact the amount of compensation that the candidate receives.

How do you conduct candidate assessment?

McKinnon Targeted Recruiters are all trained on behavioural interviewing techniques and receive extensive ongoing training on candidate assessment.
